Me and My Daddy are going to KICK Parental Alienation BUTT!

Bradenton Herald Article on PA by Glen - May2014
Parental alienation: "a disorder that arises primarily in the context of child-custody disputes. Custody can go on for years to the detriment of the children."

Most people do not know about parental alienation; it occurs when one parent's efforts to consciously or unconsciously brainwash a child combine with the child's own bad-mouthing of the other parent.

In severe cases, the child won't want to see or talk to the alienated parent. Every day in our own community and around the globe, children experience parental alienation.

Parental alienation parenting deprives children of their right to be loved by and showing love for both of their parents.

The destructive actions by an alienating parent can become abusive to the child -- as the alienating behaviors are disturbing, confusing and often frightening to the child, and can rob the child of their sense of security and safety leading to maladaptive emotional or psychiatric reactions.

Parents are unequipped and unable to protect our children against an alienating mother or father.

We are talking about damaged parents, both mother and father whose children need to be protected from a different kind of abuse. Family courts routinely allow this destructive practice with no consequences.
One must ask, is this really in "the best interest of the child?"
High conflict attorneys are part of the problem as well by delay hearings; bring in "experts" and others as this gives there client more time to abuse the targeted parent. Parental alienation leads to the emotional damage of children.

Bottom line: Parental alienation is not a gender, custody or domestic abuse issue. It is a child abuse issue. Period.

April 25th was Parental Alienation Day in honor of all the children who have been wrongfully deprived of the love of one of their parents.
